My contribution to Flow Magazine's Simplify Your Life edition. I was asked to make an illustration on this theme. Earlier in this blog I showed you my sketch. I was planning on making a lino, but in the end I'm always running out of time and decided to go back to good old Illustrator & Photoshop. Less romantic, but: the idea behind my drawing might make up for that. Because to me the things that make life simple, is being happy with little, like spending the summer with my family in a trailer at the seaside. One day my daughter and I built a wigwam for my son. We spent the whole day in the woods sawing branches of fallen trees. Given more time I could have build him a village, it made me so happy..
